Outpatient Addiction Treatment and Mental Health Counseling in Redmond, Oregon
Treatment in your own town.
This is the one. Rock Recovery's office is at 1243 SW Highland Ave, Suite C in Redmond, and everything we offer happens here.
The office is here, in Redmond
Every other page on this site describes a drive. This one doesn't. Rock Recovery is an OHA-certified outpatient provider with a single office, and that office is in Redmond at 1243 SW Highland Ave, Suite C. If you live here, the whole program is already in your town: assessment, individual counseling, groups, DUII education and treatment, evaluations, peer support, and mental health counseling.
That matters more than it sounds like it should. Distance is one of the most reliable predictors of whether someone finishes outpatient treatment, and people driving in from Prineville, Madras, or Sisters are adding 40 to 60 miles round trip to every appointment. From most of Redmond you are ten minutes out. A weekly schedule is a short errand rather than a half-day commitment, and the plans that survive are usually the ones that ask the least of a day that already went badly.
We are outpatient only. Counseling, groups, education, and support you come to and then go home from. There is no detox unit here, no beds, and we do not prescribe medication. If your assessment shows you need one of those, we will tell you plainly and help you connect with a provider who has it. We accept the Oregon Health Plan, Medicare, and most private insurance, and most OHP members pay nothing out of pocket. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm. Call (541) 234-3081 and ask whatever you need to ask before committing to anything.

Getting here in Redmond.
We are on SW Highland Ave, in Suite C, with parking at the door. For most of Redmond that is a five to ten minute drive, and for parts of town it is walkable. Because the office is local, scheduling can bend around your week rather than the other way round: DUII education and treatment classes run on weekday evenings, so a court requirement does not have to cost you a shift, and if the car is down or the week falls apart, telehealth is there rather than a missed appointment.
1243 SW Highland Ave, Suite C
Suite C, with straightforward parking. You are not circling a block hunting for a spot before an appointment, which is a small thing until it is the reason you are late to the first one.
Open Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm
Evening DUII education and treatment classes fall inside that window, so you can finish work, come in, and still get home for dinner. Living in town means that is genuinely realistic.
The whole program, in one building
Assessment, individual and group counseling, family sessions, DUII services, evaluations, early intervention, peer support, and mental health counseling all happen here. Nothing gets referred to a second office across the county.

What Redmond residents come to us for.
Everything below is outpatient, OHA certified under Certificate of Approval #001776, and delivered at this address.
Outpatient substance use treatment
State-certified outpatient care at ASAM Level 1. An assessment first, then individual, group, and family counseling built around your pace. You live at home, keep working, and come in for sessions.
Mental health counseling
Licensed counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, and relationships. Available on its own, with no substance use history required to be seen.
DUII education and treatment
OHA-certified DUII education and treatment with weekday evening classes. After your evaluation, the choice of provider is yours, and for Redmond residents we are the closest one.
Alcohol and drug evaluations
Written evaluations for courts, attorneys, employers, and licensing boards, completed and delivered on the timeline you were given.
Early intervention
For use that is early or at risk but not a disorder. A short, honest read on where you actually are at ASAM Level 0.5, without a label attached to it.
Peer support and recovery mentors
Certified recovery mentors who have lived this themselves, checking in between appointments and after treatment ends.
See the full list on our services page, or read how DUII classes and treatment work if that is what brought you here.
A hometown clinic, with the privacy of a real one.
The one genuine drawback of getting treatment in your own town is running into someone you know. Redmond is big enough to be anonymous in some rooms and small enough that you will recognise a face in others, and we are not going to pretend that worry is imaginary. What we can tell you is that federal confidentiality rules for substance use records are stricter than most people expect, stricter than for ordinary medical records, and we hold to them without exception. Nobody learns you were here from us. For most people the trade is worth it: the closest provider is the one whose schedule you can actually keep.
Most of our clients are covered by the Oregon Health Plan, which covers outpatient treatment at no cost for most members.
Redmond questions, answered
Where is Rock Recovery's office in Redmond?
1243 SW Highland Ave, Suite C, Redmond, OR 97756. It is our only office, and every service we offer is delivered from it. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm, with DUII education and treatment classes on weekday evenings.
Do I need a referral to start treatment in Redmond?
No. You can call (541) 234-3081 or send a message through our contact page and we will schedule an assessment directly. If a court, attorney, probation officer, or physician referred you, bring the paperwork and we will read it with you.
Do you take the Oregon Health Plan and Medicare?
Yes. We accept OHP, Medicare, and most private insurance, and most OHP members pay nothing out of pocket for outpatient addiction services. If you are not sure what coverage you have, call and our staff will help you check before your first visit.
Can I get mental health counseling here without a substance use concern?
Yes. Licensed mental health counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship concerns is a standalone service. No substance use history is required, and plenty of the people we see never had one.
Can I complete a DUII requirement at Rock Recovery in Redmond?
Yes, if your referral is for education or treatment. The evaluation itself is handled by the court-designated screener, and after that the choice of provider is yours. We are OHA certified for DUII education and treatment under Certificate of Approval #001776, with classes on weekday evenings.
Is telehealth available if I live in Redmond?
Yes, though most local clients come in person, since the drive is short. Telehealth is there for the weeks when the car is down, the roads are bad, or a shift runs long, so a difficult week does not have to become a missed one.
