Outpatient Addiction Treatment in Central Oregon

Find your footing again.

Getting help for drinking or using, simplified: one phone call, a thorough assessment, and a plan built around your life, from a team in Redmond that knows this road firsthand.

What care looks like here

Real treatment, built around a real life.

Addiction treatment at Rock Recovery is outpatient, which means you live at home, keep working, and stay with your family while you do the work. It is not a lighter version of care. It is structured, evidence-informed treatment: a thorough assessment first, then individual counseling with a licensed counselor, group sessions where change compounds, and recovery mentors who stay in your corner between appointments.

Everything runs through one coordinated team at our Redmond office, serving all of Central Oregon: Bend, Prineville, Madras, Sisters, and La Pine, with telehealth when distance or schedule gets in the way. Rock Recovery is state-certified by the Oregon Health Authority (Certificate of Approval #001776) for outpatient substance use treatment, early intervention, DUII services, and treatment for people involved with the criminal justice system.

The founders, Shawn and Eugene Reece, are a married couple, both in recovery. They built this practice to give Central Oregon the kind of care they wished they'd had, which is why the standard here is belief and dignity, not shame: setbacks are met with honesty and a plan, and progress is expected.

What to expect

From first call to first appointment.

The first call is a short, confidential conversation: who you are, what's going on, and what you're hoping changes. No paperwork gauntlet, no interrogation. From there we schedule your assessment: a thorough, unhurried evaluation with a counselor that maps where you actually are and what will actually help.

Then you get a plan: individual counseling, group treatment, peer support, or a combination, shaped by your goals, your schedule, and your history, and adjusted with you as the work moves. If a court or diversion program sent you, we track the requirements and prepare the completion documentation, so nothing about the process is left for you to decode alone.

Paying for care

Insurance and payment, handled clearly.

Most major plans, private pay, and the Oregon Health Plan are all welcome here. Before anything starts, our team checks your benefits and tells you plainly what your care will cost.

The people behind it

The story this place is built on.

Rock Recovery was founded by Shawn and Eugene Reece after they walked through recovery themselves, and they still lead it today. Around them is a team that pairs licensed clinicians and counselors with certified recovery mentors. Their story says more than any tagline, and it's worth two minutes of your time.

Common questions

Addiction treatment, answered plainly.

Is outpatient treatment effective?
For many people, yes. Outpatient care lets you get real, structured treatment: assessment, individual counseling, and group work, while living at home and keeping your job and family life intact. It's the right level of care for most people we assess, and when someone needs more than outpatient care, we say so and help them find it.
How fast can I be seen?
Often the same week. Call (541) 234-3081 and we'll find the first opening that fits your schedule.
Do you take my insurance, or OHP?
Yes to most. We take most major insurance plans, private pay, and the Oregon Health Plan, and we check your benefits with you up front so there are no surprises.
Do you offer DUII and court-ordered services?
Yes. We're an OHA-certified DUII services provider, and we work with courts, attorneys, and probation across Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties, including evaluations, education and treatment tracks, and the completion documentation the court and DMV require.
Do you treat mental health too?
Yes. Rock Recovery is a mental health practice as well as an addiction program. Licensed clinicians provide therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring conditions, coordinated with your addiction care, on one plan, with one team.
