Outpatient treatment
State-certified drug and alcohol treatment in Redmond that works around your job, your family, and your life. Real counseling, real community, without stepping away from either.
Treatment without putting life on hold
Outpatient treatment at Rock Recovery means structured, evidence-based care for drug and alcohol addiction, on a schedule built around work, school, and family. You meet regularly with a counselor, join group sessions with people who understand, and go home each night to keep living your life.
For some, outpatient is the first step into recovery. For others, it's the next step down after a higher level of care, a way to stay supported while independence grows. Either way, you're met by counselors with lived experience of recovery, founded on the belief that nobody should have to walk this road alone. If you're also carrying anxiety, depression, or trauma, our mental health services address co-occurring conditions alongside addiction care.

Outpatient treatment FAQs
How long does outpatient treatment last?
There is no fixed timeline, your length of care is shaped by your assessment, your goals, and how you're doing along the way. Some people work with us for a few months; others stay connected longer as they rebuild routines and relationships. We review your plan with you regularly, so treatment lasts as long as it's genuinely helping and no longer than it needs to.
Can I keep working or going to school during treatment?
Yes, that's the whole point of outpatient care. Counseling and group sessions are scheduled around real life, and telehealth appointments make it easier to fit treatment into a workday. Most people at Rock Recovery keep their jobs, classes, and family responsibilities going while they get well.
Does the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) cover treatment at Rock Recovery?
Yes. We accept the Oregon Health Plan for outpatient addiction treatment, and with OHP most services come at no cost to you. If you're not sure what your coverage looks like, call us at (541) 234-3081 and we'll help you sort it out before your first appointment.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
We do. If driving to Redmond from Bend, Prineville, Madras, or Sisters isn't practical every week, or you simply prefer meeting from home, many of our counseling sessions can happen over secure video. Our office is also open Monday through Friday, 8am to 7pm, for in-person care.
How do I get started?
